Win7 instalation freeze

Had this old laptop that I want to install win 7 on it and it freezing everytime at the completing instalation part. This isn't the first time I'd reinstall windows 7 on it but this is the first time it act like that. I had tried to force restart it but everytime i open it up again it said error and that I need to reinstall it again. Can enyone help?

What is the model information of this laptop please include the following:

Brand
Model Number
Serial Number/Service Tag Number
Age of laptop

It came with a freedos so I just install win 7 on it

It came with a freedos so I just install win 7 on it

Impossible to install W7 on a freedos disk. DOS is an archaic filing system that passed out of existence when Windows 2000 went to NTFS, a far superior file system.

W7 will not run or install on a freedos disk.

Run Speccy on your system and post the link only to the result here.

 

Here's my canned instructions:
Please go Here and download the FREE version of Speccy system analyzer and save to your computer's desktop. Install it.

Open Speccy. Give it a few seconds to scan your system.
Click File \Publish Snapshot.
In the next screen, click yes.
In the next screen, click Copy To Clipboard.
In your next post, paste that link in the post. Do not post the entire log, just the link provided.

Tbf i didn't buy it the first hand, my father had it a while and he just gave me so it was probably had been buyed a long time ago

Did you format the disk as NTFS...either before or during the attempted Win 7 install?  Do you have a legitimate copy of a Win 7 install disk and a valid license?

That happened to me, Windows 7 freezing on clean install. I found out the additional memory I installed 4x4 16 gbs. were not fully seated. Once seated correctly, the installation was a breeze.

Does your ISO have UEFI patch? You need it if your laptop is using UEFI firmware instead of BIOS.

Irrelevent; the OP stated that he had successfully re-installed Windows 7 on his laptop multiple times already.
