Good afternoon Techies!

So I've purchased 2 Macbooks from a school auction. Before the auction, they let everyone know that these were being sold AS IS and weren't responsible if we couldn't get the items to work. This is a new chartered school so they auctioned off the previous school's laptops that were left behind. I assumed it would be easy to do a fresh install on a Macbook because I've done it a few times before. But I'm running into some issues.

I'm using the Shift + Option + Command + R method on both.

Macbook Pro (13-Inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt Ports)

With this one, I'm able to get the process started and nearly finished BUT once I get to the end, I get a message saying "Remote management allows the administrator of the School District to manage this computer remotely". So this let's me know that the school district's information is still on here. I even went back and erased/formatted the drives and installed again. I still get the same message once the install completes.
How can I completely remove everything while installing?

Macbook Pro (15 Inch, 2016)

With this one, when I try to format the drive before the install I get a message saying "Erase process has failed. Click done to continue." And in the details it says "A GUD Partition Table (GPT) partitioning scheme is required. Operation failed...."

Even though it wouldn't format, I tried to install anyway. When it's around 16 seconds remaining on the install it says "An error occurred while preparing the installation. Try running the application again." I tried it about 6 times, same results.

I attached photos. Thanks!

The 13 in should have been released by the school first before selling it. You will have to contact the school

Regarding GPT partition table, I'm not sure about that error. Can you access the Disk Utility during the OS install?

Regarding the 13 inch, the school that auctioned it off never had access to it. It was left behind by the previous school before it was chartered.

15 inch...yes I can access the disk utility

The second link in post #2 has a reply that explains how to wipe the disk and create a GPT disk using the disk utility.
