So Malwarebytes-Binisoft Firewall Control has been around for some time now and have not seen a discussion nor a article.

https://www.binisoft.org/faq

I have only seen a few help topics that had installed WFC and a search of this Forum does not turn up much,  nor a full Article and breakdown and Pro - Cons of it from BC Main Page Search.

Nor seen if this is a recommended product for people that want more control over there Firewall as Defender is pretty useless for customized for User Controls

We often post for consideration by the OP : https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/configuredefender.html

Review sorta Mar / 2022 : https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-firewall-control-guide/

Just a thought on this as looks more useful than the above though I am not sure if this works with the Free Malwarebytes or just the Paid Version.

Thoughts !!

I've been using Binisoft (now Malwarebytes) firewall control on my notebook. It is fairly simple to configure, and once done, does its job without any muss or fuss. For awhile I also ran Sphinx and Tinywall but prefer Binisoft for my needs.

I've been using WFC for over 6 months or so and other than a flurry of notifications at first, I hardly get any now. I also recently started to use Firewall Hardening by Andy Ful and I haven't noticed any issues other than the odd attempt for some Windows x86 file trying to access the internet. Firewall hardening blocks windows x86 files access to the internet.

I wasn't sure how both programs would work together but I haven't noticed anything untoward.

I am not sure if this works with the Free Malwarebytes or just the Paid Version.

It is available if you use Malwarebytes or not.  https://www.binisoft.org/wfc
