I have worked with both Parallels and Microsoft support people only to end with each pointing the finger at the other.

The computer I have is a MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021) - Apple M1 Pro - 32 Gig Ram running Mac OS 12.6 - Monterey

Have dedicated 8 Gig of Ram to Windows 11 (21H2) with Parallels Desktop 18

I am a Parallels Pro and MS Office 365 subscriber.

I used to be able to copy/paste images into a MS Outlook task.  Now, when doing so, when trying to save the changes to the task, Outlook crashes and restarts with no changes saved to the task.

Even opening old tasks with images pasted into them previously, when trying to save, outlook will crash.

There is no error message at all. After pressing "Save & Close" in the task, there is about a 3 second pause, outlook closes and restarts.

Errors are logged in "Event Viewer" but I can not seem to decipher any of it. (nor can Microsoft or Parallels *sigh*)

Curious if anyone else is having this issues and if any known fixes are out there.

Probably not what you want to hear, but there is an Outlook version for Mac. You can also access Outlook 365 via a web browser.

You can also try running Outlook in safe mode and see if that at least temporarily resolves the issue. You can also try de-activating Outlook add-ons, or run the Outlook inbox repair tool.

Thanks for the feedback.   In working with Parallels and MS, have tried several times to run in safe mode, repaired files, and deactivated add-ins. Removed and reinstalled - Even created a new VM - Fresh Install - Always the exact same issue.

The "syspro" link you provided has some cryptic wording I found hard to understand.

Outlook on line and for MAC doesn't really work for me as I have aged-old PST files I access regularly.

I was hoping to find someone who has the same issue - not being able to save pasted images into an Outlook Task.
