What is it, and why do you use it?

Is it significantly better than Google?

Thanks.

Yes, I use Startpage - Private Search Engine. No Tracking. No Search History because it fetches its results from Google, but without their tracking.

Good luck! :)

Google is a great search engine, to deny that would be unrealistic.

What most informed people object to is its tracking, and prejudiced search results. I use Brave, generally more private searches. Haven't found problems with results at all.

I briefly used DuckDuckGo, but that was when I was at college.

I have exclusively used Google since 2004, and wont use any other due to the power Google allows one to look for information with Google Hacking.

I mostly scream "Hey Siri" if I need to search something.

I have Startpage as my Home Page in all Mozilla Firefox and Chromium-based web browsers. However, DuckDuckGo - Privacy - Simplified is another privacy-focused web search engine.

Brave Search: Private Search Engine is another similar alternative web search engine. There are also various other privacy-focused web search engines than those mentioned here.

Good luck! :)

I tired countless search engines like Bing, DuckDuckGo, Dogpile, Brave Search.... And I always come back to Google, so don't look for anything better or just scream like Meg (that works too).

I primarily use DuckDuckGo if that fails then Brave search and if Brave fails then Google or StartPage.
