June's Microsoft Patch Tuesday is here and there are 16 security updates for Microsoft products that resolve 44 vulnerabilities in Windows, Office, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Edge. Included in these updates are patches for 5 security bulletins labeled as critical because they allow an attacker to perform remote code execution on the vulnerable product. This would enable the attacker to execute commands or install further programs without your permission.
Of particular interest are patches for Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer vulnerabilities that would allow attackers to create specially crafted web pages that could infect a visiting computer. This would allow the attackers to download malware onto the computer to further compromise the system.
All users should immediately run Windows update and install these security updates as soon as possible. For a full list of the vulnerabilities and links to their respective bulletins, please see the table below.
Time to get updating!

I, personally, see this kind of issue with IE all too often.

Microsoft Edge is only available on Windows 10, so those patches pertain to Win 10 only.
According to the technote for IE, vulnerabilities for IE9 and up have been addressed thus this will affect any version of Windows that can run that particular version of IE.
So if you have that version of IE (9, 10 or 11) then you need the patch.

I believe why we are getting such great updates is that Windows 10 is a service than a regular OS like Windows 7, 8, or 8.1. Microsoft can catch these needed bugs, batches, etc. a lot easier and implement them sooner. As for the so called "spying".... here is the key! Any online activity administered is really no different than being in public life. What you do not want to share with us... DO NOT! That simple!! With ransomware and all the new treats online today, Windows 10 could not happen soon enough!
