Your manual for your networked hard drive

I have it only as a pdf which is too big to upload.

I have loaded the Index, and if you can tell me which part i need to look at, I can upload that part.

Thanks

Hi,

Wd Service And Support; Registering Your Wd Product - Western Digital WDBCTL0020HWT User Manual [Page 2] | ManualsLib

is the link for the manual.

It is a 3TB unit.

I have screenshotted some information from the bit I can access, and the data plate.

Do you see the button that says DHCP and STATIC set it up for STATIC and let it be. That way the address is permanent.

So do you use the same credentials across all machines

I’ll have to check (tomorrow),

If your asking if I use the same microsoft address etc, then yes.

I have done screenshots of the 3 PCs to see if there are any differences:

Attached File  Desktop (unable to access files).png   93.74KB   0 downloads

Attached File  Desktop (can access files).png   92.94KB   0 downloads

Attached File  Laptop (can access files).png   66.41KB   0 downloads

I can't see any differences...

Thanks
