Hi, no idea. Fast Boot was a ASUS invention I think years ago and all the other boards had their own name for it.
As well all had it it in different places. Some still move it around so can only say to disable it with out reading every M/B manual.
I would imagine that trade mark wore off and all decided to call it Fast Boot.
This says it is disabled : Realtek USB 2.5GbE No idea why it is off. Maybe disabled in Bios but this is the Service : rtu56cx22x64 so possible to turn it back on in Task Manager.
Can before doing so : type System Information in Start Search and Enter then check in there for a reason maybe Problem Devices. If no problems there check in Device Manager then View --> Show Hidden Devices and see if a reason is there. Maybe a legacy device.
Were asked to remove : CCleaner it is causing a error. Might use Geek or Revo Uninstaller as it gets more. Suggest System Ninja instead of Cc.
Uninstall : WhatsAppDesktop as it is causing a error. Can reinstall.
Source: volmgr) (EventID: 161) (User: ) Description: Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation.
Note : Changing tro a Complete Memory Dump is huge. Can do so then change back but no one will want to read it if it is created.

try
Open a CMD Admin prompt and copy/paste : wsreset.exe It is a Windows Store Reset but might fix the issue. As Well The Microsoft Store is a Integral Part of Updating Windows 11. Open the Store, Think Library opens now if not Left Side.
Install only what you use.
and
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/774774/reset-windows-update-components/#entry5387270 Copy/paste from pastbin link.
See if Win11 Restore Pints are turned off. By default is off now.
You did take care of this issue : Name: Trojan:Win32/Malgent - Date: 2023-07-29 20:15:41
Run : https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/771263/windows-defender-application-guard/
THIS IS YOUR ISSUE
Splashtop and Radarr and Prowlarr caused a Kernel crash there are others. I already mentioned getting rid of these. Do so, use something else, You are a minority user.
- Your Problems are the use of the above. - if you have issues and these are still installed then will be hesitant to do any sort of depth looking. Remove Them.

Now you've made some major changes, if it restarts/crashes/BSODs again then rerun the Sysnative data collection app and upload the new output.
I will not assist with problems via DM, only via the public forum.

Will do, will monitor if the restarts continue. Thanks so far!

I can't get Windows Defender to work after removing Bitdefender. When opening security console I get this:
Removing registry key DisableAntiSpyware or setting it to 0 doesn't work it gets recreated after reboot.
Resetting the security app also didn't help.
I can't start or change the startup type of defender related services "access denied"
Yes, this is a personal PC with win 11 pro.

I have a paid version (gets more) so recommend the free with no problem : https://www.revouninstaller.com/preview-log/?pid=1851&pname=
is 30 day free trial on the page for removing supertantispayware. (IMHO it is a glorified cookie finder.)
You need to get supertantispayware out before you can Reset Defender with the info URL below.
You should not have been running it.
Did not notice installed. It is a also a A/V program now so you were running 2 and can not run 2. So possibly had issues with that causing problems.
Only one I know that can run with compatibility is Malwarebytes. Have to make exemptions for Defender as it does a limited scan weekly or less.
(I run Norton360 With MBAM myself)
Let us know how you make out.

I don't have that application, what makes you think I do?

Thought you were talking about here "DisableAntiSpyware"
Whjat happened when used the URLS for reset and the Tutorial ?
Posted 10 October 2024 - 05:12 AM
DisableAntiSpyware was a reg key, according to this article I should remove it to fix "Your virus and threat protection is managed by your organization" message.
I've executed the steps in both url's and rebooted. unfortunately the issue is still there.

You have made possibly to many changes to revert from "managed by your organization"
Any customization will get "managed by your organization"
I suggest not playing in the registry unless it is https://www.elevenforum.com/t/reset-windows-security-app-in-windows-11.7363/
