1 - The "Source Address" filed in the TCP layer is the "Public" IP address of the Local Area Network... right?

2 - The "Source Address" field in the IP layer is the "NAT'd" IP address of the Client on the  Local Area Network... right?

Thanks for any help.

PS - (By "NAT'd" I mean the client's IP address after it has been translated by the Network Address Translation (NAT) code in the LAN's Internet Router.)

In the destination header once the public router receives traffic destined to it.

PUBLIC IP ------ PUBLIC WEBSITE OR NETWORK ------- ISP WAN Port Router --------- LAN Port ---------- Private IP

If private IP requests PUBLIC IP the traffic will go right to left once it reaches the PUBLIC IP the traffic will return the opposite way to the private IP.

I hope that helps
