maybe 10 years ago, i won an Asus 8" tablet and bluetooth keyboard/case.
it served me very well for surfing the web and viewing youtube videos.  the family has netflix, hulu, paramount etc.

it started to act really wonky and kept flashing a pop up saying there wasnt any memory.  i had also downloaded Microsof Excel and Word and had my yahoo mail going through it too (like i have on my phone).  i deleted pretty much everything from it that might have been eating memory and it seems to run pretty smoothly now.  i also replaced the battery about 2 or 3 years ago and it works well in that regard

my job has reverted to one of sitting around waiting for something to go south and i wanted to watch shows again.  it wont run Netflix and i just downloaded the apps for Paramount+ but there's a "connection problem" with that app and Hulu says "Hulu wont work on this mobile device"

my daughter says its all because the tablet is ancient.  i dont like Apple stuff (she won an iPad in college about 4yr ago) and she convinced my wife to get an iPad to replace her Nook (Barnes and Noble for doing more than just reading her books).

ive heard the Samsung tablets come slammed full of bloatware.  I really dont need a lot from the tablet other than to play movies/shows and allow me to access my yahoo and gmail accounts and dont forget the GREAT Time Waster, Facebook..

i see lots of chinese tablets on Amazon for way less than a couple of hundred $$ and something like that would probably be just what i need.  can someone point me in a narrower direction on something?  id kind of like a bluetooth keyboard that (is kind of sort of) designed for use with it.

thanks!!!
